The area barber would have housed his customers individual custom shaving mugs on the shelves. Each shelf is lined with green felt to ensure that the porcelain mugs would not slip or slide into each other. The overall dimensions of this early 20th century barbers mug shelf measure 34. 75" in width, 8. 25" in depth with a standing height of 38. 75". Each of the four shelves measure 32" x
